Leaving Cadiar the route drops down the valley on the new road, diverting to follow the local route through the villages. Stop in Cherin for a coffee, it's early for the distance, but hospitality is surprisingly sparse on this route.

The country road to the reservoir drops, on tarmac perfection, down through the villages of Lucainena and Darrical, and loops around the reservoir to climb to Turon.

Scaling the mountain after Turon the gradient increases and runs up to a hard riding ridge.

The view from the top of the final descent is spectacular, take a moment to absorb it. The descent itself is a curving plummet into the village.
