Starts and finish at Scarletts Cafe on the Beach in Clevedon.
The route leaves the south of Clevedon following the quiet lanes that loop across the moors to Kingston Seymour. Crossing the motorway and skirting the edge of Yatton turn left into Ham Lane and enjoy the flat straight roads of Kenn Moor. (More enjoyable with a following breeze).
On the edge of Clevedon take the narrow lane around past the church and right on to the Portishead Road. Just after leaving town turn left by the school fields and follow over the only hill in the ride, back towards the sea. Pass the hotels and flats that prevent you seeing the sea and where the road starts to dip again fork right to return to Scarletts.
Scarletts is the traditional choice for the cyclist, with plenty of bike parking space, good food and coffee and friendly staff. A warm haven in winter, an oasis in summer!
